Buah Merah Bawean (red fruit) is kind of undiscovered species of plants. Privileges, Buah Merah trees only grow and bear fruit in Bawean Island. Until now this Buah Merah has no name, it is different kind of Buah Merah from Papua.

This rare fruit flavors are very tasty, delicious and savory. Different with other fruits which tasted fat, and sweet. Please note, Buah Merah season in Bawean Island has began in April until August. The characteristics of the fruit is its kind of small thorns on each fruits. There are two kinds of fruit, named Buah Merah with red color and Buah Merah Mentega with white color.
